Parmesan Potato au Gratin



Parmesan Potato au Gratin is a classic potato dish that combines layers of thinly sliced potatoes with creamy Parmesan cheese sauce, baked to perfection until golden brown and bubbly.

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, diced

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C

Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish

Sprinkle half of the minced garlic and half of the Parmesan cheese over the potatoes

Season with salt and pepper

Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese

Pour the heavy cream over the layers and top with diced butter

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving
