Coca-Cola Glazed Salmon



This recipe for Coca-Cola-glazed salmon is a great mix of sweet and savory tastes. The Coca-Cola glaze turns into a deliciously caramelized coating on top of the salmon. This dish is very easy to make and looks great. It's great for seafood lovers.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, combine Coca-Cola, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and black pepper

Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the sauce is reduced by half, stirring occasionally, about 10-15 minutes

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet, skin side down

Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy

Flip the salmon fillets and pour the Coca-Cola glaze over them

Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is sticky

Serve the salmon hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired
